Most likely a long shot. Was wondering if anybody has either tried, or heard somebody that added the exhaust mode feature on the GT350 onto their GT. I know Roush has one, but man oh man does that break the bank haha

That exhaust sounds awesome! Only problem is the clamps look terrible from the back and the tips don't look like they fit that well. But I think they rushed the install for the video.

There's more to the GT350 exhaust than just baffles opening and closing. The control is built into multiple systems, not just an on/off button. It's integrated into the drive modes, the killswitch itself (for Tech Pack and Electronics Pack cars), the steering wheel control killswitch (all GT350's), and 6th gear engagement.

Look at offerings designed specifically to be added to base cars as such like the Roush kit.

Magnaflow has an exhaust system for the GT350, does anyone know if it work on a GT? If it does, it has the variable valve on the muffler. All is needed is the control motor.

Between Roush and XForce, I'm willing to bet that variable mode exhaust systems will begin to become more common place. I personally would strongly recommend against hack jobs like that and frankly, so has Magnaflow. Again, it's not just the control motor, the system integrates into the computer itself as well. Unless you have the engineering know how to finagle such jobs, I would not over think this.

We have not seen anyone successfully add an OE valve function to their vehicle. The valve control on new cars is coded to the ecu (dealer will not do this for you), and complex enough that its not worth the time and money to bother with. Really the best solution for a multi mode is exhaust is using one of the complete aftermarket systems that has its own electronic controller. These are becoming more popular as of late, and cost a few hundred dollars.
