Everyone is different. I will tell you this though the Roush is only loud at first start. It just makes the car sound deeper. I guess it can be loud at wot but for the most part it just sounds angry. I love it.

I'm not too concerned about the neighbors as they are 50 yards away on either side. They are also used to seeing me on my Yamaha Raptor ATV with a full exhaust rip down the street from time to time.

Great choice! I just had my roush axle-back installed this evening. I highly doubt you'll regret your choice lol-loving mine so far. It isn't quite as aggressive as I expected however so I plan on adding the resonator delete as well in the future. For now its a massive improvement over the terrible stock exhaust tho!

You are correct in one way. It is damned quiet! LOL!! I joked with the wife and kids that I have an electric Mustang. I went with the Magnaflow Street, and sometimes it is a touch loud. I too dislike a screaming loud car. A little rumble make me smile.
Loud cars may sound good in a drive by, but if I have to ride in it and live with it, it's a complete different story.

Congrats! It's a slippery slope!
No kidding! All I wanted was tinted windows, White ball shift knob and a touch louder exhaust. I now have all three and all of a sudden I'm looking at Steeda Progressive springs.

The guys putting my exhaust on were joking asking if my car was even on and commenting how the fan was louder than the exhaust lol. They were also joking about my "electric" car. Needless to say they thought the Roush was a big improvement

I installed the Roush axle-back first but was hesitant to delete the resonator due to volume concerns.

My H-pipe(MRT) was installed almost a week ago and I have no regrets. It sounds killer with no in-town cruising or highway drone.

Got it installed yesterday. I can't quit smiling. It just adds to the driving experience. No drone anywhere.

I'd agree to disagree with you on that. I feel like it could be a bit louder but the tone is nice. I'm looking at a FRPP Sport Cat-back in the future.

This is where i part ways with much of the community, loud is not an improvement to me.
The stock exhaust has nice tone, I will give it that. And it's dead silent on the road, which is not a bad thing. But it needs some volume for me around town and when playing. I would love a volume knob for the exhaust!

I have an MBRP Street on order, which doesn't sound outrageous in the videos or reviews. I am hoping I like it.

Something super-loud with drone is something I have left in the past. I have had my Flowmaster Super 44s, and they were fun, but my ears still ring from road trips listening to those cans.

Yea, I just ordered o/r headers and some MBRP streets from Beefcake. The streets seemed like my style, although I think loud may be unavoidable with the o/r headers.
