Did that car at Sebring have front struts as well as rear shocks? If not, what front struts did it have?
Stock front Struts and Viking Pro Touring in the rear. Working on some other things. Car has a lower lap in it as we get the suspension tweaked.

Waiting to see some more info and impressions on the Viking shocks. Too bad they don't make struts too, not sure how much I like mixing and matching suspension components, but I'm open to new things if the package is proven.

Cool info, thanks. That's the first I've heard of Pro Touring models from Viking. So far it's just been the Warrior and Crusader.

For the Viking rears: are they leaving the spring in the stock position, or going to a coil over? Looking at the stock shock mounting arrangement, I don't know that I'd be comfortable putting all of the spring force there without additional reinforcement.

Both.

The dampers I have mentioned in this thread are stock replacement, with OEM spring location.

That said, I have been working with Viking on Coilover Development (have a set on my car) - so there should be more info on that soon.

I know Van will be using the coilovers for testing as well.

Well, right now the car is up in the air....but if you swing by when it's not, I'd gladly take you along for a test ride.

As for the Vikings, a Viking Equipped 2015 GT was ripping off 2.28 lap times at Sebring over the weekend. ;)
What tires were you guys running when you clocked that kind of time? That is a great time!
