Ran the car last weekend. Trying to figure this out. Any help is appreciated. 2019 Mustang GT, A10, 3.55, Long tubes, hi-flow cats, JLT intake. Factory active exhaust. M&H 275/45/18 drag radial

10/31/2021
1.74 60’
11.34 et
123.3 mph

I made the following changes this year before running the car again:

Added 18x5 front runners
Steeda x-pipe
BMR vertical links
BMR Cradle Lock Out
BMR Minimal Drop Drag Springs

10/30/2022
1.711 60’
11.31 et
121.2 mph

Et improved slightly. Mph dropped by 2 mph. With the additions I thought I would pick up 1 - 2 tenths and maybe a mph.

Any ideas on why the car would slow down? Weather conditions were similar with the exception of higher humidity. Last year ran in 43% humidity, this year about 70% humidity.

Do your slips from last year and this year show the DA? If not, find your track and date here to seeconfirm https://airdensityonline.com/us-track-list/

Did you happen to do any data logging? Any noticable spinning on shifts?

DA and temp was fairly similar. Just more humidity in the air last time I ran. No tire spin on shifts.

I think the reason the 60ft is better is due to front tire size. They may be a little taller which will increase roll out and give a better 60ft.Dont think the x pipe will give you much also.

Those are great numbers for running on gas. I have a similar set-up on E85 and ran a best of 11.18 at 126mph. The main thing is you improved your ET. I wouldn’t worry to much about MPH. I made 51 passes this summer and the MPH won’t always be your best ET….to many factors to consider. You’re headed in the right direction…..give yourself time to get a bigger sample size(more passes). Nice work👍

Did you log it to make sure it wasn't doing anything funky? How many passes do you have on each set up? The front runners are the only thing that should help with ET depending on how heavy the old set up was. If you have only made a few passes, continue to make more and collect that data.
