You are certainly going to have to remove the blower and bracket now anyway to extract the broken bolt.

If there is any of the bolt shaft exposed once you remove the thermostat housing, you can try a pair of vice grips. Clamp it down tight as shit and carefully unthread it

If it is broken flush, you are probalby going to have to drill it out and tap the hole

They do make a tool to extract broken studs/bolts, but they arent very effective if the bolt is seized or cross threaded

Agreed, getting broken bolts out is touch and go. Hopefully since it's a newer car it will come out.

When I put long tube headers on my 1994 F350 460 (camping trailer tow rig), I had two exhaust manifold bolts broken off on the driver's side. I was able to get one of them out using a kit like you posted, the other took me about two days to get out and I ended up having to drill a hole in the bolt and then keep enlarging it with larger drill bits until I could tap the hole the same size for a new bolt.

I don't know how many drill bits I broke with that job, but ended up going to the hardware store a few times.
