Nice. The ESS is awesome for the price and how the car drives with it. Seems like this set up yields very similar numbers too. Quality kit if you ask me.

ESS and a 120 is in my future. We don’t have E85 within at least an hour and a half drive from me, so 93 is it.

What ESS kit did you choose? If I go boost, those numbers on 93 are what I was looking to achieve.

Current mods:
2019 GT non-pp 10r80
Tuned by Lund 93 and E85
V1 ported CJ, VMP Twin 69mm TB w/ P51-C intake
Headers w/ no cats
3.15 rear gears

Great numbers on pump.

Just for comparison, Procharger D-1X, 120MM Pulley, 11psi, Fore Innovations Fuel System, id1050x Injectors, E85, Stainless Works Long Tubes, no cats, stock resonator, stock catback, 780HP/544 TQ at Palm Beach Dyno.

With the 10R80, 8000rpm shifts with a Centri in every gear is nuts. From a roll it's just insane.

Thread starter stated it was a g3 kit in the original post.

I second that! That sounds like a good build too!

That must be a fun street car. How long have you had this setup and any issues with it? I am seriously considering a similar setup on my 10r80 GT but worry about the transmission in the long run.

It's been about a year and half now. No issues so far. I only drive it about 1000-1200 miles per year to car shows, meets, etc. Been roll racing and it's crazy.

The Transmission is always my concern. If you keep it under 850 it's supposed to be fine but who knows. RSA is next door to Palm Beach Dyno so if it goes, I'll drop it off there for 1500HP rebuild. The dyno runs were with Mickey Thompson's so they said on a radial it would have been 800HP on the nose at the wheels.

These Centri blowers like ESS, Vortech, Procharger love high Coyote RPM's. My dyno sheet shows it made peak power at 7950 with no fall off.

Good to know, if orange man rad gets in, I will pull the trigger on a ess g3 kit. 😂

Let's hope it happens and for you to pull trigger. You're gonna love it!

I know this is gonna be controversial before I even post it, but judging from your dyno sheet, this MAY be a candidate for short shifting. Depending on the RPM drop in between your gears, you might find that either the car accelerates faster shorting the RPM range or at the very least, accelerates the same with less risk.

If you look at the torque curve peak and dropoff, you might find that you're better off to shift so the drop is only partially on the lower side of the peak, then go through the peak and then just after. Vs. All the way out where torque is falling, to drop from peak torque falling each gear.

A more thorough gear, RPM, average torque analysis might be insightful.

A whole lot of shit coming your way again! LOL I notice on my set up shifting out of 3rd by 7k, instead of holding it to 8k seems to pull the hardest on my butt dyno. This mainly applies to my 3-4 shift. 1-2 and 2-3 come and go so quick I don't notice any difference but getting out of 3rd and into 4th has a noticeable impact on acceleration. Set up is an mt82d4 car at 10lbs TT on pump gas. I might dyno it early next year and we can see what the graph looks like.
