I watched it earlier today. I do like his videos and looking forward to seeing more about his car.

Dude has awesome videos. Looking forward to a more in depth analysis from him. He nailed it on why these cars are so special.

I enjoyed his comments on an aftermarket tune for an airbox on a NA GT350 and those comments were essentially "why?". Couldn't agree more, just why? If you're aren't going E85 then in my mind there is zero reason to install an aftermarket intake and aftermarket tune .

Anyone who's familiar with this guy knows he does deep dives on all things engineering. Very popular YT channel.

He purchased a GT350 because he loves the car and really breaks down why the car is so special. Great watch for any fans of the GT350.

I do not like this guy, he is the one that said to be sure to run 0/20 oil
no matter what before the GM debacle. Maybe its just me, but I think
he is just trolling for clicks do not agree with everything he says.

I have never and I mean NEVER wanted to buy a GT350 until today after I watched this video. The only thing that holds me back is that his has the Ford racing springs and sway bars. That's not a bad thing, its just something else to change.

YES! That’s awesome!
I randomly bumped into him at the dog park. He lives locally to me.
We were talking gt350’s for about 15 mins. He said he had been considering buying one… super cool. I guess he finally made the plunge.

I've seen a lot of his videos, not a follower, but they come up often on my playlist. I do not think I've ever seen him look so excited over a car as this tbh.

So many thoughts here, besides clickbait…

oil burn…1qt/500 is NOT norm, so burning out in 5k does not happen.

spun bearing…not a verified thing, as Ford disallowed any breakdown.

the tune…irrelevant as thats not USUALLY not a warranty breaker.

i also noted the springs…nowhere NEAR a 350r ride height.

and not even close to a v8 s2000 because it’s crappy mid-band.

Also…the GT350 did not “come out” in 2016.

and he drives a Corolla and a Maverick…so, buyer beware 😂

Did you even listen? He simply quoted what was possible from the user manual. This is what he said..

In fact, in the owner's manual, it specifically states oil consumption of approximately one quart
per 500 miles is possible. Okay, this is actually interesting. So, do the math with me. This engine can burn about a quart of oil in 500 miles. The engine holds 10 quarts of oil, and the oil drain interval is about 5,000 mi. Did it just click? This engine could potentially consume all of the oil in a single oil drain interval. So, you must religiously check the engine oil on this

Here is what he actually said about the tune, again did you even listen?. He is spot on too. Installing an intake and tune on an NA GT350 minus E85 is dumb. Super dumb.

The second piece of information is that it was tuned. So the first owner had installed an aftermarket air intake as well as an aftermarket tune. In my mind, that's a big red flag.
First of all, running a tune on a naturally aspirated engine just isn't going to give you that much benefit. It's already running rich. It's already running a high compression ratio, spark advance. It already requires premium fuel. So, I just think a tune for an air intake is a bad idea. Leave it stock. It already has an enormous airbox. I really just don't see the upside. So, when the engine was replaced, it was reverted back to the stock tune and stock airbox.

Here is what he said about the S2000, I'm not sure what the problem is.

I once owned an S2000, an incredible car with an engine that
screamed to 9,000 RPM. This is basically V8 S2000. It's significantly heavier,
but it's far more powerful, too. It even
makes more torque per liter than the
S2000 engine. And 90% of the torque is
available from about 3500 RPM. So
whereas the S2000 made all of its torque
torque at the very top and actually does
have more power per liter than this
engine, the curve of the Voodoo engine
is better.
