At a typical track day you may reach 1.2 lat-g or a bit more even on street tires. Never mind the idea that at one track day or maybe inside of just one session you'll be above 0.9g more times than the average GTPP owner will get over the entire time that he owns it.
At anything much past about 0.8 g, oil is not much inclined to drain back into the pan - the resultant g-force from gravity + cornering g's is directed pretty much straight at the sides of the drain holes/channels and will just pile up in the outboard cam cover until you either hit the next straight or turn the other way. PCVs and crankcase air lines typically connect to the cam or valve cover.
