I'm getting a chuckle out of this. Basically, if you want an S550 Mustang bodyshell set up by the Ford factory so you can take delivery, drive it to a race track and then run it for a full day of top-level A group sessions without hurting the tires, the brakes or anything else, all you need is a Shelby GT350 or a Shelby GT500. That's what the labels on the bodywork say the car is. If you're happy with a Mustang bodyshell that can't perform at that level, just about anything with a Mustang label on it from Ford will do.

It may be a "regular" Mustang, but I'd MUCH rather have a GT350 than ANY other Mustang produced. It may not be the fastest, but it's the complete package, braking, handling, steering, and an awesome unique engine that sounds incredible! There's a reason they command a premium and are still selling at or near MSRP for cars in very good condition after 10 years. What other cars can say that?

Relax, nobody is taking shots at anything. It's just a mustang I don't see what the big deal is. Weird how that upsets you so much. Pull yourself together and act like an adult. Someone not putting a certain model of car on a pedestal is not a big deal. Maybe you have other issues, and that's fair. Good luck with those, you'll need it.

Thank you all for all your suggestions, I decided to ignore any negative comments about my car that dont have anything to do with the help I was asking for.

I have ordered new motor mounts, my question is, I saw in the service manual I am supposed to raise the engine with a motor support system that attaches in the fenders, has anyone use the harbor freight one? Or should I spend a couple hundred in a different brand?

Also if anyone knows, does the MT82 transmission mount insert work for our GT350'S?

I forgot to mention that I have a Barton, Shelby branded shifter, and the full stop the wheel hop kit from Steeda. I have the differential bushing insert kit but have not installed it.

Part of my concern with having so much movement in the front is that I want to go with a CF driveshaft from QA1 and if I install it with these harsh movement it will probably break.
