Engine whine?

Got just above 200 miles on my 350 now. At work today someone wanted to hear the exhaust and check out the car yadda yadda, so I fired her up, waited till she was completely warmed up, and gave a few revs with the exhaust on sport to about 7k rpm (have yet to go above that until she gets another 100 miles). Afterwards there was a whine coming from the engine, almost like a supercharger whine, or very odd belt wine. Shut if down and started back up a few minutes later and it was gone. Is this something to be concerned about? Not used to the sounds of this engine yet, and I'm sure it will have some characteristics that the coyote didn't have.
