Engine Rattle

Hello,

I just bought a 2021 Mustang GT Manual with 18k miles but am hearing a very strange noise coming from the engine bay under slight acceleration. It’s worse between 2-3k RPM. I’ve attached a video but the noise is way louder in person and it’s driving me crazy.

It's harder to hear in video but it's very loud in person, I had to turn my volume all the way up to hear it from the video but you can hear it best in the beginning of the video and end like around 10 seconds.

I can absolutely hear it. You have the famous rattle of the timing system. Easy fix just install boss tensioners

Sounds like the normal 2K rattle that most of these cars do. Some are louder than others. Mine is a lot harder to hear once the car is fully warmed up.
