  1. 2015 Mustang GT Trunk latch will not open.

Super helpful particularly the rear view camera wiring because of the black tape wound on it. S o it looks like that needs to be unraveled. I'm lengthening all the wiring. The trunk release was the last to break. Only one wire looked untouched. Approx. 22K miles. Not excess use of trunk...
  2. Light Bar CDC vs Roush

CDC offers the bar without the light; for informational purposes only. :)
  3. Problem with roof, some little wear and cut

I'd pay just to watch the replacement process.
  4. Wrenching On Your Ride

As long as I am able to drive I'm be changing my own oil as I have all time. Still drips after 30 minutes. Still runs out after 5 minutes. Third party changers leave a lot of residual oil in the pan. Does it really matter? Probably not. But it's a fair weather car.:) Same goes for...
  5. What makes the Cyclone such a durable engine?

Very pleased with the motor. really nice after 5000 rpm. installed a UPR catch can. IMO, needed if you rev it out a lot.
  6. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

I think they got the boot over declining fortunes at Ford. Tuff to see them lose their jobs. They were very pleasant to me when I was buying. http://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/2017/05/16/ford-expects-to-cut-1400-office-jobs.html
  7. Order and delivery times?

Why would that be? Each order receives a priority code and that can be adjusted by individual dealers with a call to the compay. 0-9 means your getting the car for sure asap. 10-19 is next tier and then the rest which might or might not make the cut off depending on the demand, etc.
  8. Convertible Problems?

The car Gods must have granted me a pass on this car. Paid my dues I suppose. :D No sticking rear window. Can't recall any radio issue while operating the roof and certainly don't have any noticeable "cowl" shake. Wasn't expecting the car to be so rock solid when I ordered it. Nothing to...
  9. convertible wind deflector

Would have gladly ordered from a supplier in Canada, but who? Took the usual *ss whipping @ $75 USD FEDX :paddle:. Tax .... can't bring myself to type that amount. Cost was $445. USD If you have an alternative please PM me.
  10. convertible wind deflector

I finally got the glue out of my pocket and ordered the Bar today from a supplier in PA. Back ordered till end of week ... hopefully. Serves me right for doginit. :headbonk:
  11. convertible wind deflector

The love the ride site doesn't specifically note the differences in the two different wind screens. Is the non light bar screen higher I wonder. I absolutely need a screen, but I want it framed by something more solid looking so I am going with the CDC finally after shuffling my feet for 2...
  12. Uh Oh.....Hood Corrosion

Fairly concerned about the evaporator issues been reported. That's about it as the car has been great. Although a low mileage fair weather garage queen for sure. No rust on the hood, but the car only sees rain if it gets caught out in it. However, I will be having the car sprayed for the...
  13. A/C Evaporator Factory Defect

OK, thanks. Here is a vid from a 2010 Mustang evaporator core replacement. Posted 2016 so say 6 to 7 year old car. The vid is both horrifying and amusing (audio). [ame] [ame]
  14. A/C Evaporator Factory Defect

Any chance that we can grind down the details. The evaporator; is it the same for all trims? dual v. single AC Appears that most respondents have dual AC. Ford will never pay for replacement post warranty. Obviously very irritating but just a FORD fact
  15. Misfire at 100 miles

Post a pic of your car.
  16. AC went out

So no difference in failure rate between single zone or dual zone.
  17. Best way to get better feel out of my MT82?

I installed the tranny mount bushing and the NVH was horrible. Couldn't believe something floppy like that thing could cause such a negative. Goes in a heck of a lot easier than it comes out. :paddle:
  18. Oil change before storage or in the spring?

Common sense dictates that oil should be changed before storage rather than after. Why leave all the acids and other nasty bits to coat the internals  Of course the negative effects cannot be measured meaningfully. Lots of newer lawnmowers come with engines that are sealed and you...
  19. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

Plus CVT and it will used in other models. Maybe even FWD :D ...:bolt:
