I'm sure you can get a canned tune with a JLT intake programming to at least get you going. Of course actual dyno tuning would be best.
Picked up an SCT X4 and I'm just using their canned tune for now. Dyno tune scheduled.

I'll report back and let everybody know whether this TSB is a fix. For now, even if it's totally psychological, the car seems to idle steadier. Maybe that's the TSB, maybe that's the tune, maybe that's some combination of all those things.

I've been having this issue, which in turn lead me to this site.
After reading this thread, I made an appointment with my local dealership to have the TSB performed. This past Tuesday, I left dealership with high hopes, and what seemed to be a repaired/ better running car. Fast forward to today, I go to start the car to leave work and the engine made a noise that my co-workers described as a "sneeze". The second time I hit the button, it fired like normal. Never had this issue before. This evening, while exiting the highway, I had the random shut off again...

So back to the dealership on Monday to see what they say.

BTW, I am 100% stock.

Took the JLT off put the stock tune back in. Still have my longtubes on, no check engines light or weird lights on, no codes popped up when driving the car around the corner. Driving the car to Ford tomorrow. It's about 35 miles away, will I be ok to drive the car that far on a stock tune with longtubes?

OK, I've been rolling on the SCT 93 Octane tune since Friday afternoon. No sudden engine death yet, but it was never an everyday thing in the first place.

Problem now is that I'm throwing PO420 and PO430 (Catalyst System Effeciency Below Threshold). I never had this code before. I'd put about 4k miles on the JLT/Kooks/MBRP combo before the TSB/Reflash.

Any idea what's up or what my options are? I have to get an inspection this month and I doubt I'll pass throwing a cat code.

Having researched this a pretty good bit myself beforehand, you ought to be just fine running the stock tune with longtubes. The reason you can't (or definitely shouldn't) run the stock tune with the JLT is the larger-than-standard MAF, but you've already taken care of that.

I doubted it was a simple ECM update that will resolve this issue. Has not happened to mine since the TSB but I've only really driven the car twice since it's not my daily. I always thought it was beyond the stock programming that is causing this issue and now I'm seeing more and more auto owners experiencing the same thing.

OK, after a week and some change on the TSB Fix, I haven't had this issue again. Not saying it won't come up again, but news is good so far. Will continue to update everybody.

I have had my 15 PP for a year now. Just hit the 10,000 mile mark this week. Yesterday it stalled 5 times on me. Has never happened before. I am set up for the TSB 15-0128 on Tuesday. If it doesnt fix it I don't know what to do. I can't drive a car that just shuts off for no reason.

On a side note, Am I reading correct? others have the passenger side mirror psychosis issue as well. It just randomly at start up drives into the outer stops . click . click . click

On a second side note, has anyones rear view mirror lost power? I have looked in the manual and cannot find a fuse for it but seems like it would just be a fuse. I have my radar detector powered from it and it all went out after a 5 hour trip home from the beach as soon as I entered my neighborhood.

Mine is now doing it consistently. I just took a video of it happening but do not know how to post it. For the love of god how is this fixed? I'm gonna take this fucking thing back soon.

In all honesty, it might be easier to fix now since it is consistent.

My car has died on start up 2 times. I just got long tubes installed too. My tuner said he has experienced this and modified my tune. Hopefully he sorted it out.

Nearly one month out on the TSB fix. Zero stalls. I'm SURE I'm jinxing things but my confidence in this car has been momentarily restored.
