Purchased a "Stubby" attachment for my ego leaf blower/car dryer. This will relieve a lot of angst when drying off the shelby... have grazed it multiple times with the stock attachment. The rubberized tip is fantastic and it has an OEM feel when snaping on.

Hey cool. I ordered this one yesterday off Amazon. It was cheaper than the 3D printed ones people are producing. This one is actually injection molded, has the locking latch, and looks like it came with the blower. :like:

I have a 3D one. It fits well but it’s a little bit of a pain to remove without a latch mechanism.
yeah, the latch really helps a lot and gives it that oem feel.... What was EGO thinking.. didn't they realize their leaf blower was a car drying mechanism FIRST... and then a leaf blower?!

You’re not lying, mine sees way more duty as a car dryer lol.

That's the sole reason why I bought it.
"Oh, it works as a leaf blower too? Cool."

I was waiting for the OG one too, but Apex Air have had issues tooling up to make the units in the USA rather than China. I couldn't wait any longer so ordered the Stubby Nozzle Co. version, but I like yours better.

Is this the one you got?

Stocky Car Drying Nozzle for EGO Blower, Work for EGO Power+ 530, 575, 580, 615, 650, 765 CFM Blower(1 Pack, no Tool) : Amazon.com.au: Garden

As others have mentioned, the lack of a lock/unlock tab means the 3D one is not easily removed. I have a gardening business, so the EGO was a tax write off (shhhhh ). I think it only got a couple uses on the job before being left in stubby mode for car drying. (I have 6 other blowers to choose from for the "business".)

Yeah that not the end of the thread. Most of us use the ego for more than just drying cars.
