I had a similar hesitation, but added the hose clamps to the supercharger as suggested earlier in the thread as well, and the hesitation went away for me.
I had clamps on it from the start I bought them when I started the install. I'm not sure how it would be without them. No pill either.

Ok so my tapping sound is now coming and going. Not sure what it is but it seems more at idle, and definitely around the back of the drivers side valve cover. Started tuning with Lund so we will see how that goes.

I was trying to get UPRs dual catch can setup working but I'm having fitment issues since it was designed for a car with the optional intake kit, but they are working with me to get it on there.

I hear people talk about the pill, but I'm not quite sure what they're referring to, happen to have a pic where this would be? Might want to remove mine as well, to see if it feels smoother, couldn't hurt.

Do you have the brass sensor? Did they tune it with that sensor?

The pill is in the line to the wastegate. Its a little metal check valve looking thing, mine was way in there and hard to get out. Yes I have the brass sensor and tuned for it.

I bought the JLT do it yourself kit. It comes with 6 different fitting all you need is the hose.

I grabbed the JLT Whipple kit and just sliced the fitting off the TB side and used a hose clamp. It worked out nicely because it’s remote mounted and out of the way.

Today was productive. Installed the DW95's, the JMS pump booster and got the Lund base tune Alex sent me loaded in. Did the preliminary data log and sent it back.

Investigated the tapping sound some more, its so weird. I can ONLY hear it in the car with the doors and windows shut, and its LOUD. But as soon as you crack a window it goes away. Also, with the back seat out to do the pump booster, it sounds like its coming from the back. I don't have any idea what it is. Exhaust leak? Doesn't sound like any I've ever heard. I wonder if one of my cats blew up and theres a chunk stuck in there.

Very odd!

Glad it’s coming together. Interested in your tune feedback!

Totally stock kit with just the JMS and 95 lb injectors?

For now yes. The Lund tune feels good already and its only the first revision. I did have one HELL of a time getting the DW95's to seal on the edelbrock rails. I had to take the drivers side off 5 or 6 times.

You bought the DWK-17U0400958 with the top hat. The DWK-17U0000958 don’t have the top hat and are like factory and let you use the fuel rail clips that come with the kit.
