What led you to check the compression, knock and trims?

Was your stage 2 kit installed by a certified mechanic? Only way they will consider a warranty claim.
Car was getting vibrations shop started it up and knew what it was

Considering picking up some EB stage 2 parts on Black Friday sales. Just want to make sure these are the proper intake and tb parts for the 2300 kit (17 GT). I couldn't find a "stage 2 kit" for the 2300, only the 2650. I will decide plugs/injectors/bap based on tuner recommendation when I decide who I'm using.

Where are you guys getting the edelbrock upgrade parts on sale at? I wouldn't mind the intake and maybe TB upgrade for mine. Curious who is having the best prices on these.

I think the inlet into the blower is 90mm, so the 90 ford Motorsport TB may be a better option.

Not sure though, I’m hoping that @Edelbrock Tech will weigh in as well. What’s a realistic horsepower gain by adding these? Custom tune I am assuming as well...

The throttle body won’t do you any good without the modular front. I think you’d be better of with the ford racing 90mm, which if memory serves is as large as your current opening gets. I’m in the same boat as an early adopter 2650.

The opening where the throttle body mounts on the 2300 is 90mm,so a larger TB reallly wouldn't help much. I am running the Ford Racing 90mm TB along with the Edelbrock Comp Intake Kit on my 2300. I installed those items along with DW95 injectors. The $500 price on the intake is still expensive but it used to be $700 for that piece of plastic. Edelbrock must have dropped the price due to people bitching.

There is a stage 2 upgrade kit for the 2300 blower it is PN 15866 and has a valid EO#:
https://www.edelbrock.com/e-force-supercharger-15866.html
The Edelbrock Stage II Upgrade kit part # 15866 allows customers using the 1586/15865 supercharger (2015-2017 5.0L Mustang) to upgrade to stage 2. The Edelbrock Stage II Upgrade kit #15866 includes a complete, competition air intake system, 90mm Throttle body with adapter, fuel pump upgrade and an updated calibration file.

I bought a while back but Fred @Evolution Performance gave me a great deal.

I have it on my car now with same 2300 blower.

I saw that one too but the title says its for the 2650 even though the part number in the description says for the 2300. Confusing.

Both the 2650 and 2300 can bolt up to the stock tb, so the adapter should still work. The airbox shouldn't see a difference. I imagine the only difference would be the calibration file?

Has anyone had issues with the newer DW400 pump with the internal check valve? This is what comes in the 2015-17 stage 2 kit. Datalogs showing lien conditions in beginning stages of WOT tuning with Lund. It is lien in both EB and Lund tunes and I have been recommended to put the stock fuel pump back in and get a BAP. Maybe got a weak pump or the new internal check valve may be limiting top end. Curious if anyone else has had issues.

No issues here. More likely its an install problem, the DW400 flows a shitload more than the stock pump.

The check valve in the DW400 is set at 120 psi instead of 58 psi like the stocker, so unless it's just faulty it shouldn't be that.

Priced out an EB air intake, vmp bap, and Ford 90mm tb w/adapter and its $450 less than the EB "stage 2" kit and will basically serve the same function. Only problem I'm having is the only 90mm Ford Racing tb says it only fits 11-14 GT/Boss applications. Found a 87mm tb for the 17 that is a GT350 tb. Will 3mm make that big of a difference? Not to mention the 87mm tb is almost $500 less than the 90mm.

Anyone that has the Ford 90mm can you give me the part number for it and any adapters used to fit it?

I know! The 87 is cheap!!! But can it be tuned? Likely not much of an overall difference to the 90 as far as flow.

Anyone have experience?
