I mean of course it's going to feel slow going from an 11 Sec. Car to a stock ecoboost running 14.0 1/4 stock lol!!! Yea uh I went from a Ferrari to a stock EB and it feels slow..... Why)

I'm waiting to see cool pictures of all the cool stuff you fabricated...I mean every thread you are providing such incredible knowledge on how to make things. I can only imagine what your car looks likeOh My My , Me Post Brought out the Mod Funatics !
It feels slow because it IS slow, regardless of what I drove before. A 14 sec car is not quick IMO, I guess I should have made it clear in my previous post that my previous car makes the EB feel ESPECIALLY slow.I mean of course it's going to feel slow going from an 11 Sec. Hahaha yea I know I was just being sarcastic, I think everyone's definition of slow depends on what they came from. I mean I remember in high school a 14 sec 1/4 car wasn't slow. I graduated in 97 by the way. Also my 2004 g35 felt really fast and had great power, and it ran 14 sec 1/4. What's great about this motor is you can invest $1200 and eat up cars left and right. Even GT's just not the new ones, but I say a car that you can get in the 12's for around $1000 is pretty freaking amazing. Add on that the looks!!! That's my favorite part, I don't think a day has gone by that I went to fill up with gas and someone said to me "nice car". Or damn!!!!!! Is that turbo? 4cyl??? No way!!! That's bad ass!!It feels slow because it IS slow, regardless of what I drove before. Thats the line of thinking that i'm coming from as well. While I don't with the notion that the stock tune is slow, simply bc it can run a 14 second 1/4 mile (which isn't bad guys). I'm impressed with the drastic improvements that can be made safely with just a simple tune. I've only had the car for a little over a week and I'm still running it stock. I'm planning to buy the unleashed tune in the very near future, and from what I have seen and read on the forum the difference is night and day. Moving this car from a 14 second to a 12 second 1/4 mile is one hell of an improvement. After the list of bolt-on's I'm going to put on this machine I don't think anyone will be able to say its slow and pass a polygraph simultaneously.Hahaha yea I know I was just being sarcastic, I think everyone's definition of slow depends on what they came from. I don't find it very nimble, they weigh about 3500 lbs and that's a bit to sling around, sub 2900 lbs is where its at to take in the twisties. If this car weighed about 3K it would be a riot.Reading this thread gave me Diabeatis.
Honestly everytime i walk away from this car i look back twice, it's not "slow" it just needs a tune to wake it up. Whats really got me going is the way this thing moves. Nimble as hell and the road feel thro the wheel is superb. I'm beginning to form a really bad habit of sliding around every corner just bc i can with ease. if yall like the Genesis so much why dont you marry one? also OP what exactly is the question? but in like English
Subi/yota dropped the ball buy not sticking a turbo in the car, the sales of the FT86/FRS are pretty bad, who wants to spend 30k on 200hp/150fttq, I test drove one and it was laughable acceleration, boxer engines can be a real pain to deal with as well. But if you got money to beef the engine up or do a swap its a badass platform. but if you got that kind of money just buy a vette or Porsche cayman. It someone wanted to go light and nimble they would be driving an FRS. I have a few I hang out with, and all of them get jealous when they drive my car. I will gladly give up, nimble and some weight, for overal power and torque.
Cayman would be my choice if i had the $Subi/yota dropped the ball buy not sticking a turbo in the car, the sales of the FT86/FRS are pretty bad, who wants to spend 30k on 200hp/150fttq, I test drove one and it was laughable acceleration, boxer engines can be a real pain to deal with as well. So you can drive a EB straight to the track from the dealership lot and run low 13s? Interesting.14 second car? Ya'll need to engage a DRVRMOD. The EBM has ran 13.2's bone stock. That's quick, especially for a heavy neutered 4T car.
