I have this same issue on mine. Happens about 1-2 times a month. Always when using the presets to go back to a certain position. I have a preset for driving and one for backing up (lowered mirrors to see curb) and swapping them is when I see this happen.

I agree. I really like my EB and the EB engine as a power plant. It was my first choice and I like showing it off. Some folks find it gaudy or too much, I think it should have come that way. The nice thing about the UPR badges is they look factory to me.

I didn't used alchohol, didn't get it either. Just cleaned it really well. I think the angle is because of how the body lines work. I used it and looks great to me.

How can you tell what your engine build date is?

I'm in Northern California and I see around 187-189 most of the time, though occasionally it spikes to 205-210. Always weirds me out, though it still seems fine so I haven't really looked into it. Didn't think it could be tied to AC though.

It happened to me once, when the engine was cold on startup. Hasn't happened since.

That was the primary reason I ended up in an EB. I went to the dealer intending to buy a GT, test drove an EB after the sales person insisted I try it, and I really liked the way it handled much more than the GT. Very nimble, without that heavy front end. It's fine if it's not for you...

I did an update on my own and it took about 90 minutes for the update to process, so four hours does not seem out of line for dropping it off and pick up time.

Is it okay to just remove the Engine/Intake cover? I know it help dampens the sound of the injectors, other than that would there be a problem to just pull it? Does the cabling on top of the motor need protecting? Considering just yanking it off if all it does is dampen some sound.
