The first 500+hp Mustang came out in 2007, way before the 5th Gen came out. People just forget that the GT isn't the highest level of Mustang performance and hasn't been since 1993. Not to mention the Camero went away and Ford completely changed the game with the 2003 Cobra.

I agree that special edition Mustangs have been great. The Termi was amazing. But until 2011 the regular edition v6 and v8 were merely just meh...

It wasn't until the Mustang had real competitors that Ford made the run of the mill Mustangs something special too.

When I think about it though, you are right that now that the Mustang competes on the world stage against the best from Europe and Asia. It doesn't really need the Camaro any longer.

The Mustang might not need the Camaro, but more competitors equals better cars for us consumers.

13K on the clock.
Tuned since mile 6 (My own SCT tune).
Indexed/gapped cooler plugs, AiRaid Intake Tube/Filter.
20+ passes in the 1/4 mile with a best of 13.97 @ 105mph on factory tires. (100*f air, 108*f AIT)
27mpg+
Not a single issue...

You're tuned with 20+ passes and your best is a 13.97? I wouldn't even bother to run it that many times without an upgraded IC if the conditions are that bad. Seems like unnecessary stress

Have you run 1320' in 100+ degree temps?
No and I'm saying I wouldn't bother to do it that many times without an upgraded IC at least.

They might not have been on the same day. Some people regularly go to the track and not just once...

Do you have a video of that N-Ring run on YouTube? I've seen one on there.

Yea, that probably was my slow lap that you saw. It was my first lap and the car had like 1,500 miles on it lol. People still hating in the comments, but have never been... Since then I improved my lap time by over a minute, but still not where I wanted to be. Unfortunately, my racing here is over :brokenheart:

How big of a difference is it with the e85 setup? Much faster? You can run it straight now?
