Having fun with a friend punished him out the whole and had him by a car length whole time into triple digit speeds. Anybody else run these before?

I used to own an ISF and i would say they're as fast as the GT. That's pretty impressive because they pick up pretty fast.

I made him buy me 2 pitchers at the bar after haha. The usual if I put a blower shit talk from the V8 bros. ya i used my paddle shifters. I know! I finally couldn't take the stock tune anymore and put in the overtime hah. It's gonna be a Gooooood Spring then for you pal. :cheers:

My bro in law was considering buying one. The dealer let him keep it over night so we had a few races and after beating him everytime (from dig he would get the jump but then I would catch and pass, from a roll it was see ya later from any mph while running 93 tune) he bought a new Golf R.

How's that Golf R run against the EBM? I found one driving like an ass on the autobahn but he pulled over and stopped wanting to play when he saw me in the rearview:( I was really looking forward to see what it could do!

I would also be curious to see how the EBM would match against a Golf R. That was a car I was condidering prior to the Mustang.

I would think the R would be a touch quicker. Some guys have broken 12s in the quarter-mile with them. With a tune it's not even close, the R is pretty dang quick.

He has a Nuespeed power module installed for now (waiting for Eurodyne's ECU upgrade) other than that he's stock on summer grip tires. With my E30 tune and OEM A/S tires and we both have MT. From a dig he leaves me and I can not catch him and from 10-20 mph roll same results. Not making excuses but I just have way too much tire spin. From 25-30 mph roll I gain a half inch per 10-15 mph increase meaning by the time we hit 100 his nose is about even with the front side of the front tire wheel well.

The OEM A/S tires should be called No Season tires. Easy enough to lose traction on dry roads, forget about wet roads.

There is a video on youtube somewhere of a guy in a type R running 3.6 seconds to 60 with just a stage 1 APR tune. These things have the potential to be little monsters.

There are golf's running 11s on a tune only. APR has really squeezed out its performance.
