The issue is if you don't have a flex tune (FI) and you head out to go fill up and everyone has bad E85 then you end up having to fill up with some. I typically try to stay 1/2 tank or more with the best I can find. That way if I am forced to low content it still averages out ok. Is it a pain, yes but the advantages of e85 out weigh the hassle. 1st world problems...I wouldn't mind paying. Sadly that would make life too easy.
Hopefully the other stations are better. I'll keep that in mind staying over 1/2 tank if I get the tune. The issue is if you don't have a flex tune (FI) and you head out to go fill up and everyone has bad E85 then you end up having to fill up with some. How long you been on E85 and how is it?I’ve found most pumps around me say minimum E content of 51% but have been luckily enough to find a local station list “minimum E content of 70%” even in the dead of winter it was testing out at E75. So as stated above find another station and test, they all seem to vary.
Just turned 6,000 miles, have been on E85 since 1,200 miles no regrets or concerns at this point, the car runs excellent. How long you been on E85 and how is it?
Station #2 They didn't even advertise or come up as a station with E85. Only reason I found out because I heard this loud modded Scat Challenger so I looked and saw the faded yellow handle lol.Allowable content is as low as 51%, find another station. Perhaps when they get a new load it will be higher.
