I found a local mobile station that indeed sell E85 but it says contains 70% Ethanol. Is it that this is a winter blend in the Maryland/Viriginia area where it does get blistering cold and perhaps a higher 85% in the summer months? I assume that if it is a lower percentage, it is because cars would be harder to start correct?

Thanks,

I used to run my STI on E85 in 10 degree weather with no issues.

Yes that is correct. Winter blends are lower Ethanol to help with cold starts.
