Dubious record for the quickest bingle

OK, I'll stake my claim for the inaugural benchmark for the quickest bingle in their Australian S550 - in my 11th day of ownership!

Stopped at a roundabout, I got bumped in the rear by a tradie's ute. Luckily, he had great blocks of rubber in his roo bar that impacted the bumper. The net result was a minor defect in the paint in one location, and a slight distortion in another - nothing worth the hassle of insurance claim, car off the road etc. Upsetting none-the-less.

As long as your okay that is the main thing. Bonus is that there is not too much damage.

You maybe the first 6g member, but the bloke who lost it in the wet on a roundabout in castle hill, takes the prize.

Even minor rear end impacts can cause unseen damage behind the bumper.

I wouldn't be letting this tradie get away with it that easily - he should be held accountable for his carelessness/stupidity.

Your call of course, but I would at the very least be getting it assessed.

Oh the irony- put a sizeable dent into the rear bumper of my 300C 2 years ago and I've been dreaming of being rear ended- but nothing and I live in Perth.

I live in hope but knowing my luck it will be Ol Yella that cops it
