So, no 2018 Mustangs released yet...probably July.

The 2019 cars will be here in October/November. It's possible that the 2018 Mustang will be on sale in Australia for as little as three months.

The RHD oil cooler issue is (as far as we know) unresolved. The aircond issue is ongoing. There are reported reliability issues with the 2018 5.0 engine, six speed manual and ten speed auto.

Every day, Ford make headway fixing these issues. There were a lot of changes to the 2018 car. As each month passes, the Mustang gets more reliable.

I'm in the 2019 queue and I feel it's the place to be at the moment.

If you can wait a few months and can live with the 2019 colour palette, there is no argument against the 2019 Mustang.

Hard to have an argument for/against when you don't get a choice which one you get lol

I ordered an 18 but missed the queue. Was first annoyed that I couldn't get lightning blue, but now I think it's probably a good thing

I was keen on waiting to get a 2018 and subsequently a 2019, but then I saw a mint 2016 with a couple tasteful mods and I ended up jumping on it.

Honestly I couldn't be happier. I'm not overly fussed on the changes really and it was more the style of the 2015-17 that i really loved. If I was to wait however, i'd go the 2019 definitely. The changes over the 18 arent much but it's 3months more to get a couple little things so you might as well.

Auto rev matching in a manual could be cool (i'm in the habit of doing it automatically myself) especially if you're new to manuals. Not sure what other changes there are between 18 and 19 manual though. But if i was going an auto, i'd definitely have waited.

What colour you getting, Matt?

I'm on the Bullitt train. I'm already a little partial to green:

Gettin Ruby now, gonna pair it with some nice bright silver Koya wheels. The colour change also sparked me to change to auto lol, which I think will be a good choice for my plans

I like the Bullitt green, always thought Guard was too grey

How many more "2018 Mustang is coming" threads do we need?

I'm sorry for being a whiney... but can we not keep the general discussion to one thread?

What are the differences between an 18 and 19?
What's been announced so far:

On US cars, a rev-matching function for Mustang GTs equipped with a six-speed manual, a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, and an active exhaust system for the EcoBoost. Australian cars, who knows....B&O at least.

New colours: Need for Green, Dark Highland Green (Bullitt only), Velocity Blue.

Discontinued colours: Royal Crimson, Triple Yellow, Lightning Blue.
