Yeah, which is why I sold the Mustang. The delivery date kept blowing out and I simply couldn't wait. Maybe I could've if I actually believed their projected delivery date but glad I didn't because it ended up 6 months beyond the initial indication when I ordered.
Definitely not complaining but I also think things are easing further. Looking online today there's a lot in the 60s and low 70s whereas before it was high 70s/low 80s.
Update: Car was sold last week for $72k. More than half a dozen offers between $68-70k, one at $71k, one at $72.5k (buyer went MIA) and $72k sealed it.
At one point $85k looked possible (early January). I originally listed in mid-March (before the car had arrived) for $77,900 and was getting...
I can tell you all where the market is at because I believe I have the best on the market at the moment at a price that I thought was the best value, but after 3 weeks it remains unsold.
The best offer I've had is $5k less than I was asking (and I am closer to the cheapest than the most...
It's self-healing so the risk of swirls is minimized by the composition of the film. There is a solution that they recommend be applied periodically (maybe every 2 years?) I can't quite recall. Will find out.
Car looks epic. Great choice, including the one to go with Clear Shield.
Funny story, I dropped by to chat with Dave the other day while your car was about to get wrapped. I asked Dave "when are you starting on it?", he looked over at his colleague and laughed "It's already done".
That right...
Yep, that's exactly what I meant.
Anyway, mine's for sale and I'm after $71,400. Black on black on black manual V8 Coupe. Reckon I'll be lucky to get that.
i like your optimism but $95k on a plain Mustang GT seems insane.
I say outdated because USA has already received updates to its Mustang that we don't get. Or if they haven't already they will by the time our shipments are underway.
The only thing about that is that they're buying a second hand car off us and are therefore up for stamp duty which could be $4k if your +$30k number is right.
I'm thinking $10k is more realistic. I hope I'm wrong but $90k for a $60k car which is basically an outdated model already seems a...
I'm certainly hoping they will if you know what I mean but IMHO you'd have to be desperate or stupid and with too much money to do it. Come January I'm hoping there are plenty of desperate and stupid people around.
You thinking +$10k? +20k?
I pleasantly surprised with my viewing. Yellow in my opinion is the worst colour but actually looked great! Quality of interior materials was good with the exception of the power window surrounds (some of the worst plastic I've felt) however the transmission tunnel plastic was fine. Didn't much...
Have just been advised (only after calling the dealer myself) that what started as a possible Oct delivery, followed by a "definitely before the end of the year" delivery, pushed back to February 2016 when I received my papers from the dealer is now an April 2016 delivery!
At least I'm now...
I'd suggest the discrepancies are to do with the way power is measured in each market rather than the actual output of the vehicle.
USA measures using SAE while Europe/Australia use DIN/ECE. The difference is a multiple of approx 1.027. That goes some way to explaining the difference...
