I know it sounds strange, but in sport & track mode the manual seems to shift smoother to me.

Possibly due to synchronization.

I know it's a bit off topic but since you have a 19 Bullit.
What gear have you found that hits top speed?
I know my V6 tops out in 5th gear 6th gear will hold the speed while dropping the RPM's with no gain in top end.

OK no one has mentioned this so...

Does the track or sport mode change the speed limiter settings?

Will 6th gear be allowed to reach redline? in any modes?
Speed limiter can only be removed with aftermarket tune.

Kinda what I thought. However removal and alteration are two different scenarios. The Bullit has a top speed that is 8 mph above any GT including those equipped with the A10. I was thinking perhaps Sport or Track mode on 6sp. would alter speed limitations. Something in the Bullit mapping programs allows this model a higher top end even though it has 373 final drive. The additional 20 horses shouldn't change speed limits.
Thoughts?

The GTs are probably governed too (based on tires), just another point to help sell the Bullitt.

Drive modes don't affect the limiter though, on the V6 it is just straight 121. Once you tune (and upgrade tires!), you can easily get to 140. I haven't pushed mine further than that because the road becomes much shorter at those speeds.

I might be wrong on this, but with the tune in the Bullit they have proobably moved the redline a bit higher over the regular GT thus giving it a bit more of a top speed. The cars are factory hard coded at 183mph, so even with limiters removed and tunes adjusted, the factory ECU will limit it to that speed.

I wonder what RPMs are at 183mph?

Muscle memory: Your finger goes from the start button to the far-right lever and 2 blips up.

The only change in throttle response between modes is going from wet/ cold mode to any other mode. Otherwise, I don’t sense any difference in mine.

Don't have mine yet. Can you change settings in default drive modes? For example I would like not to change throttle response in Sport mode but have firmer suspension and steering.

With the a10, I definitely feel it. The transmission also behaves way differently. Of course, our butt-dynos could just be calibrated differently.

If you don't have a noticeable increase in throttle response going from Normal to Sport you might want to take your car in for service. That's one of the main changes between the 2 modes.

There isn't a way to do that. It'll start in Normal no matter what you do.

You can change the steering feel in Normal (default) mode. Can't get the firmer suspension w/o changing modes. There's no way to change throttle response w/o changing modes unless you go aftermarket.

For some reason in the 18+ you can no longer be in Sport mode and change the steering feel. It stays in Sport for all modes except Normal & Wet.
