I was thinking about something around that size but once I’m boosted, I don’t think those wheels would be good enough because I wouldn’t be able to fit bigger tires on them
17x10's will take you into the 8's

I ran a 305-45/17 Mickey Thompson ET Street R on the same wheel before switching to the Hoosier QTP. The next size up is a 315. I think that would fit, but it may not be optimum.

Just curious, what power level are you shooting for? Wondering if going 315 would even be beneficial? Then there’s the issue of poke (will they stick outside of the fender wells)? I like the look of the QTPs on mine better than the ET Street Rs. The QTPs filled the gap in the wheel well a lot better.

Also, I ain't running any stop the hop kit. Only suspension mods are cradle bushing lockout kit and vertical links. But I did do a $15 mod that stopped my base stock GT rear springs from fully compressing, thus not burying the rear tires right into the fender well. Helped BIG TIME. Gonna to a couple more things over the winter to completely eliminate the hop & get it into the deep 1.6 60' N/A with the drag radial.
Here it is in 1st gear full boogey mode.

That’s impressive I’ll have to look into those lock outs and links. Currently my car came with lowering springs on it. I want to throw a better wheel/tire set up on the car. See what passes I can accomplish, do the suspension mods next (just so I can experience the difference in what I’m paying for) then I’m going to buy oil pump gears, a g3 ESS supercharger kit and chase 800whp

What clutch are you looking to run with the ESS? Will you be keeping the MT82-D4 in the car until you have to change or upgrade it?
