Well on my way into work my mind changed again. I'm not getting either right now. It's 28 degrees, the roads are lightly wet due to light snow/ice mix and the stock Perilli All Sucky tires wouldn't grip for shit. I'll be buying a snow tire and wheel setup now. The other 2 will come when it warms up.
Again, thanks for all the comments.

Downpipe...
Intercooler...
So it looks like I'm going to be getting a Christmas bonus and I can't decide which part to buy now this time of year. I know the benefits of each but since I live in SW OH, the temps are dropping, and winter will be in full go real soon. And after buying all that I did over the Black Friday-Cyber Monday weekend, I'm not going to spend the entire bonus just on myself. So considering the time of year, would you buy the dp or the ic? Just curious as to the general consensus. Thanks for voting.
I'd say IC all day. Helps the car run so much smoother. PLUS looks bad ass!

Next to a tune, there is nothing more important than an intercooler. Don't think he can soak the stocker in winter? I was seeing 180* IATs out the back last year when racing in the dead of winter. Now, I don't even see 100* on an 80 degree day. Plus, the tune can be more aggressive with a proper intercooler.

Also remember that a good FMIC will improve flow and have less pressure drop, too. So you'll improve airflow and lower IAT's with one mod.

If you live up north the intercooler is less of a priority. Where I live you need an intercooler for the car to even drive well.

Get an intercooler first, Downpipe is nice, but you'll have one good run and then heat soak will happen and the Downpipe you just paid for will not improve anything. Intercooler allows for consistent runs back to back without having heat soak.

If you live anywhere still get an Intercooler first.

Well, looks like the poll is telling you what to get ;).

I posted a lot of data over the past year of intercooler results, and why it is necessary if you want to make any power.

Lot's of options out there, there is a intercooler for everyones budget and preference.

You looking for a 100% bolt in, or are you ok with removing some plastic?

You got a good rush from flooring it? You want it again? Get the intercooler. Theres nothing worse than an amazing run and loosing a bunch of power with heat soak.

Granted I live in FL but I went intake then down pipe and exhaust first because I found "deals" on all of them. When the temp is 85-90 I can feel the timing being pulled due to pre detonation. This is on 93 octane. I strongly recommend either a tune or intercooler first followed by the downpipe. I kind of went about it the wrong way but that is because I got in on the initial Solo deal where I got DP & exhaust for $750 shipped. I am getting tune in a week or so and plan on getting an intercooler early on in the spring before it starts getting too hot again.

No argument there!

I appreciate everyone's comments and votes. I'm going to go with the masses and get an IC now. Try to live with the tires for a few more weeks and possibly get a DP before spring.

Thanks again to all!

If there was only one to pick between IC and DP it would be IC all day but trust me, whatever you choose the other will come right after. Mod bug is very very real lol.
