Livernois, I don't mean this to sound rude although it probably will, but please provide us with some actual information instead of just telling us that 'you're the premier EcoBoost tuner of the world with dozens of record setting EB cars and that we should just take your word for it'. We all know you do good work, but we'd like you to explain this as it goes against all the data that we've seen/heard/experienced so far.

I have no problem standing behind LMS with the information they share even if it does not come across perfectly. I will get them to send me every part in question for you guys and test them right away and share the results as they have the parameters in place with their tuner that my Personal Eco is equipped with.

I have already driven / went for rides in Eco's with the Cobb and SCT setups and until you feel the difference first hand it is hard to understand where I'm coming from or just how different these units behave.

I don't even offer the LMS stuff for sale yet as I have been swamped with many of our own products and I personally want to have my vehicles outfitted with what works best based on the performance they deliver.

I never want to come off condescending or rude and love to share everything I learn with all the forum members and give them results driven advice. I just installed the race magnaflow system on my Eco. Also I will be choosing an intercooler as I get better feedback and information from the few suppliers that have serious systems.

I want to have the perfect setup and I'm really not interested in buying items twice by making poor or misinformed choices. I will also not be biased with my decisions based on items I sell or business partnerships. Whatever I discover will be what I share regardless of who's product or brand it is.

This is about the quest for the best setup and that cannot be reached if I allow my recommendations to be swayed by anything other than the TRUTH.

Joe

It's not that the information that they share is vague per se, but rather it's usually just informing us that they're the best and just kind of insinuating that we should just take their word for it. I don't just take anyone's word for it, especially when there's tons of data and other very well respected tuners that say otherwise. To say that an upgraded FMIC is "overkill" is a bit absurd. The stock unit is garbage, and I'd love to know how they came to the conclusion that it isn't. However, as I stated before, they usually won't tell us that.

Thank you for being honest and objective. That's what I try to do with everything as well, Joe.

I've dealt with LMS on other forums too, and some of the information that has been spread was not accurate, period.

You have also been working in Michigan temps [emoji106]
I did two 3rd gear pulls in 15° weather yesterday and the charge air temps jumped from 24° to 87° on one of the pulls. I'd say that's pretty close to Michigan temps lol.

Well, here's hoping to get some data on why an upgraded FMIC is "overkill".

I'm getting real sick of people comparing Cobb canned tunes with others. lets compare pro tunes with others tweaked tunes from sct and livernoice.

Because most of them brag of being able to support 1000 hp. So how does that affect my spool time when I will be sizing a turbo for this motor correctly? I'm waiting for a good, properly tested intercooler to come out, not just biggest is best... The stock one will probably be fine with a properly sized turbo for awhile.

1000hp is too insane. I'm more concerned with heat soak and timing being pulled.

It'd be nice if everybody on this site would stop grilling every vendor that posts anything. Do you want to offer any proof or reference any of their posts before making accusations?

For some of us this is not our first mustang and have been on numerous other mustang sites where we have seen similar behavior; don't like it don't read the posts.

And if you notice it is not EVERY vendor on this site, the ones that deserve it receive it and the ones that don't, don't.

People are free to conduct business with whomever they choose to, if they have a bad experience they can't say they weren't warned.

^Agree the anti LMS commentary is getting real old it almost feels like there are ppl from other vendors making accounts to mess with them. I don't see them having anything to gain from saying an upgraded intercooler isn't necessary so I would think he has seen evidence of this. Lets see what they have to say when they get back to the forum
