When will they hit the showrooms? I'd like to inspect one? I rode in a 340 Demon "Lime Green" w/ black side stripes when I was a wee lad. Well, 17.

If i had bill gates money i wouldn't buy this car. Its just a straight line drag car and any one with a few bux can build a car to beat it. Its about as useless as a cobra jet car or copo camaro, but you can drive it on the street. Plenty of 9 second street cars on the street, guess what they have ac and siruis radio to!

If I had lots of money I would for sure own this car. I would own almost every performance car built. Some I might only keep for a few months, but I would try them all.

I think a car with tons of torque would be very fun on the street. The Challenger is big and heavy - it lays on the road really nicely. Very comfortable on the highway.

My thoughts exactly. I'm a car lover, not a Ford lover. I refuse to be myopic with my automotive experiences down to brands because I've got a stick up my ass. There's all kinds of thrills. Why limit it to the pretentious ideologies of a single philosophy?

You should try getting the facts before trying to attack someone on the internet

Nah, you're wrong. A mod merged another thread in to this one and that what I was replying to. The other thread was in the wrong section.

I love fast cars but for a street car I feel 800+ HP is not streetable. I would love
to drive one though and glad Dodge made this beast. Hopefully this car comes with
a 100,000 mile warranty

If I had the dollars to afford this "beast" I would be ALL OVER IT in a NY minute! A car from the factory that will put race cars on the trailer - Priceless! For a buck I would order the front passenger seat so a buddy and I could cruise to the local Cars & Coffee on a Sunday morn in my Dodge Demon - cool as the other side of the pillow...

Great job on thinking outside of the box IMO.

Considering some of the first Hellcats had 25-30k ADM, I would expect anything less from the Demon.

I wonder with the dual pumps and large injectors, how easy this will be able to push big numbers from running e85... won't have to worry about race gas. Kill mode all the time.
