Best components under $300 to replace the front and what speakers do you recommend for the back? Going to power them with a Rockford Fosgate P600X4.

I don't know much about car audio and would love some advice. I have the 9 speaker shaker without sub and it sounds pathetic. Would this be a decent fix?

What amp should I go with? Is there better sounding options for less that aren't too complicated?
As far as the speakers, I tend to stay away from metal dome tweeters, because generally speaking, they can get a little harsh. Here are a few suggestions that are in the sub $500 range;

http://www.woofersetc.com/c-172-spe...375w-peak-3-way-component-speaker-system.html

For subwoofers, I'd spend a bit more and get something that looks like it belongs in your car starting with a decent enclosure;

And a decent sub, possibly something like this;

Those Hertz components seemed expensive at first but then I noticed (read the title lol) that they include a pair of 4" speakers. Was planning on Focal but these look nice. How's the mid-bass on the 6.5"? Do 4" speakers fit in the door? I thought it was a 3" speaker?

No problem, that's what this forum is for!

This seems like a decent amp with a fair amount of features;

I'm suggesting a 5 channel amp for flexibility... you can bridge 4 channels down to 2 and drive the front speakers with more power, or you could choose to run both front and rear speakers in 4 channel mode. With either situation, you still have the subwoofer channel. Hope this helps!

If you follow the link to a thread I started you can see what I did to my 9 speaker system.

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67307

Unfortunately, they tied into the rear speakers which makes the sound quality sub-par the more I listen to it. I've been told to have those rear subs tie into the front speakers but don't know what I need to do that. I've emailed OEM about his harness several times with no response. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I have a question: I suck with electronics of this level, but I have some questions for you guru's.

I have a 17 GT350 Electronics pack which is the 9 speaker system. The base sucks. So I have a LC7i and a RF 4 channel. Is there a way I cam use these components to make the system sound better ? I have a pending deal on a Shaker pro sub box, but I am wondering if I just upgrade some speakers and add the components will it be better ?

Any thoughts would help.

Thanks

I would stay away from the shaker pro sub. I have it and its being replaced.

For some reason when I remote start my car, all my speakers that are powered by aftermarket amps pop. I'm wondering if the speaker wire signal coming from the head unit are somehow touching. Only tbing is that it only does it when i remote start the car and open either the doors or trunk. After the first time I open a door it went do it again.

Also has anyone installed a 6.5 sub in the doors? I'm wanting to get rid of my ten in the trunk but I'm not too sure which subs will fit in there.

Take it to a local reputable shop and they should be able to tell you what fits.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. I was underwhelmed. My son's 2016 Fusion SE sounds way better and is significantly louder than my Shaker Pro. I get my new system installed on Wednesday. Super excited!

I got a question, has anyone installed an aftermarket double din in their PP? I really don't care on missing out on MFT and with the new Pioneer 2330 i can have pretty much the same features.
