Every time I get in the car, and if my passengers "forget" the car doesn't move until I do. The polymer caps, and concussion I had as a teen are my reminders that seat belts not only save lives, they prevent expensive medical procedures.

I got used to wearing seat belts while serving in the Army overseas. Seat belt use was mandatory in Europe even then. Now it feels weird if I don't have a belt on.
On a side note I had a track day yesterday and I'm glad I had a seat belt to help hold me behind the wheel.

I grew up pre seat belt also but I personally know 2 people that flew out of the car and die because they didn't wear them. Such a tragedy that could have been prevented.
