Hello Guys,

Looking to order a Mach 1 with HP, but wondering if the HP wheels poke a bit since it looks like it in some photos…

Thanks!

Order banks are still open on MY22 Mach1, but the year is getting long in the tooth. If serious, best to order now. There's only like 90 days left before HP production, if not Mustangs in general, stop being produced for MY22.

If ordering the HP, yes, the factory-supplied HP front wheels do poke. Wheel lip extenders are supplied to compensate. Most don't have a concern with the poke, but the tires; they are sticky, for the track and pitch rocks. Most replace their tires for street conditions.

If you find the poke becomes an issue, countless aftermarket rim/tire solutions are available.

Add a little negative camber to the front and it will also help. They're pretty meaty with the tire setup.

Great guys!

Talking to my dealer the HP is very hard to find...

Do you happen to have the part numbers for the front and rear wheel arch extensions in order to make this work?

Thanks!

To clarify...when you buy a Mach 1 w/HP, the wheel arch kit is supplied, as part of the purchase. A Mach 1 HP owner does not need to purchase anything additional.

I picked up Skye on 24 June. One week later, the wheel lip moldings arrived; they were resting in parts. I got a sense they might be there, shortly after removing my tin foil hat. Asked of them and picked up today.

I think I was fortunate enough to get them before the current shortage. Note the "Fragile" sticker followed up by the hole. They do wrap the lips to keep them from getting scratched. Was lucky. The moldings were on another side of the box when the hole was made. The protective foam didn't get nicked.

Yes, they poke. Here's a top down slightly at an angle for the stock wheel (because it didn't show up at all) and then a HP wheel.

Just want to clarify that the wheel moldings are shipped separately to the dealership and are installed by the dealer. Usually shows up within a week of the car being delivered, however, I have been reading in other threads that they are now on backorder so who knows when they may show up for said vehicle. Can easily track by giving your VIN number to the parts department though.

Yea it's a bit of a pain in the but, although, if anyone wanted to put on front rock guards it makes it easier depending on the type you are doing to put those moldings on after the guards go on the front.

yeah it is nice to know we have some options that aren't full on flares. i had to modify the fenders on my cobra to give it 2 more inches of track width in the front just to fit 03 cobra wheels properly.

Looks good... Im looking to purchase de Mach 1 without HP and then adding it later... you guys happen to have part number for the extensions?

They might look cool even with non-HP wheels or aftermarket aggressive fitment.

They are just optional when purchasing them. I know I just posted it to another person in another thread but can find it again or reference the post.

Here is the thread although I only have 2 photos currently of them on and the 2nd doesn't show the entire part of it. The side skirt extensions come with the flaps if you so choose from ZL1, they are not ford specific parts.
