Johnb it's funny that you posted that I was going to make a post if anyone has used that lift I'm trying to decide if im going to get that one or one from a company called ez lift which uses a drill to lift.I do a lot of work on my other cars and since my primary garage is only a 1car garage these would be my only choices
I've seen those of you have room I'd go full lift. Reaching around the middle part would be annoying for oil changes, you couldn't drop a engine with it. For brakes one of those rails with a jack would be as fast. You couldn't use a roller etc. Imho

Edit that's actually not what I looked at that looks pretty good actually

Race ramps with extenders FTW.

Dan,

Did you ever use your race ramps for your first oil change? I'm about to change my oil and have the two piece race ramps. I was wondering how they worked out for you.

Thanks

The ramps are 350. If they where 35 it would be a no brainer.
I think I paid $200 for my 2piece race ramps. Amazon prime delivered in 2 days.

The two piece will not work without the extenders for our cars. The two piece is 10 degrees. We require no greater than 7, the extender makes it 6.8. Amazon also sells the extenders.

There is some good info here: http://allgaragefloors.com/5-best-car-ramps/

I ended up getting the 2-piece Race Ramps. They work better than I thought they would.
Would those ramps work on a gt350? Because that's the point. I have rhino ramps. Suggesting things that won't work on the gt350 isn't helpful. If I ordered 200 race ramps to find out I couldn't use them id be annoyed

Yep exactly, i tried without the extenders and splitter was barely touching, so i ordered the 56" extenders and now is a breeze getting the car up the ramps.

Yes I have the BL-5000 with the 120 volt pump. The quickjack can be ordered with an optional 12 volt pump to make it 100% portable. The thing works great and its hell of lot better then ramps!

Okay.... So they also make a 2 piece 67in ramp that is 14" wide vs 12" wide for the 56" ramps. They make the extender for the larger model too. So question is... Are the 12" wide ramps the right size for our cars or would the 14" be the better choice?

I don't see the need to get the 67" ramps, the 56" X12" with 56" extenders are more than enough for our cars.
The tire is about the same width so you should be fine, i know i am.

The only advantage i see is that you get an extra 2" of ride height so more room to wiggle under the car.

Order my race ramp.....pricey but figured it would save me money on maintenance. I miss having my truck and not using a ramp or jack to work on it lol.
