You will not be able to remove the "GT350" badges without damaging them. The mirror removal requires removing the door cards (easy), door speakers (easy), and accessing the mirror harness plug (not easy as it's a one-hand job with your arm in the speaker home up to your elbow while trying to get a plug apart in the blind). Still worth it IMHO.
Mine were removed and reinstalled after covering the fenders. The shop that wrapped my car said they are held on with double sided tape and there are two clips that go through the fender. He said they were a PITA.

Any idea how they got the clips to release?

Howdy all,

Prepping the paint for polish and I decided to tinker with the side badges or vents to see if I could remove them (to polish and put film under them). It was MUCH easier than I thought.

Vent only takes a heat gun and some soft prying from your hands. Badges just take some finesse with fishing string and a pry tool (in addition to heat). Dont think id recommend removing badges unless you are willing to buy new ones because they are fragile. I stressed the first one enough that I will probably replace it. But it is doable. Second one came off super easy. Took a video. Will be going up with the rest soon.

HA. Alright, alright. I admit defeat!

This crap is hard to work with - should headed all your advice :)

I was able to get it on the flatter areas, but it had spiders and bubbles. Then I tried my pre-cut piece for the fender and that looked like a 3 year old put it on - plus I started running out of time. In the end, I ripped it off. Plan on going a different route.
