That's one thing people are so excited about with this new model. Ford have done a nice job of closing the gap wrt quality. Sure, it's still going to fall short of those models costing way more, but to many people it's going to be 'close enough' that they won't be left wanting for much. The people that will be left wanting are those for whom having premium quality is a bigger priority than overall value. But some of you are comparing Mercedes, BMW, and other high end cars with fabulous build quality and more exclusivity to a mustang. Just a mustang. Not even the gt500 etc.
Same with exclusivity... everyone places a different value on it. Exclusivity makes a car more expensive for sure, and can be an ego booster for some, but it doesn't usually make them more fun to drive.
Curious if you have sat in a 2015?I have owned most of the high end cars listed above except the corvette because I am just too large a man to fit comfortably at 6'6" and 260. I would not put the mustang in their category.
