So I am stationed in Germany and decided to see what military auto source (used to be called military auto sales) could do for a price of a GT Premium w/ PP. I was expecting to see a quote around what Koons has quoted me. Instead he says he can take $750 off the MSRP!

This company is supposed to helps soldiers get an exclusive price directly from the manufacturers. Instead it has turned into just another money making business with no care for the military.

I am not about handouts and I love capitalism but when a company works directly with the military and advertises extremely low prices, they need to do better than this.

Yeah, $750 off MSRP is nothing. I'd use USAA True-Car Buying Service, usually gets you at invoice.

I have looked into USAA. The prices are pretty good and the interest rates are really low. I shouldn't have gotten my expectations up with MAS. I wish I could get a hold of a private offer from Ford but no luck in getting one of those coupons. It's so weird that they aren't pushing harder for sales at the end of the year. I thought I would get an awesome deal.

Sign up for EAA, $36, and you get a $750 coupon.

The guy at MAS says he can match anything (of course.) Why does it have to come to that when they say they already have the best price. Besides Koons, who else should I contact for an awesome price? It will have to be shipped to Germany so I can literally buy it from any dealership AFAIK.

Have any family state side that are Costco members? For me it is $700 under invoice and minus what ever rebates you can get. My quote for a GT premium PP was around $36,000 + TT&L.

That sucks! In 2003 I was stationed in Germany and bought a 4x4 Limited Explorer for several thousand under MSRP; I believe that I paid $36k.

I just purchased my 2016 GT PP w/ Recaro seats and I am paying around 34k.... after you get rid of the extended warranty haha... I am going to mod the shit out of mine though.... MAS has treated me very well and been staying in touch with me pretty while while I have been deployed. Maybe it is just because you are in Germany it is going to cost so much....

You military types should at least be able to get Invoice, if not better. Uncle Sam should give you a $1000 coupon to get you below Invoice. :usa:

Although I have no idea how they factor in shipping.

I know this is a Mustang enthusiast site, but can you get a good deal on a BMW M4 while stationed in Germany? You know ~ when in Rome, do as the Romans do ...

I'm in K-Town as well. So I told them it was a horrible deal and they said they could price match. So I have been working with Koons and they got me a really good deal. MAS is going to get back to me if they can match that or not. If they do, it will be a good price. It will be delivered to Germany so I'm sure they are going to charge me an arm and a leg for shipping. We'll see and I'll report back.
