change the fluid out to BG syncro shift 2. OP mustang has a kit with the correct amount of oil and a hand pump. When I switched all notchyness in every gear change went away.Auto rev matching
Its not a feature... its a common behavior for Manual Transmission cars (at least for all the manuals I have had)....2020 Bullitt with an MT-82 here bought new and had this exact "issue" from the get go. I'm currently at 54k km. Fresh tranny fluid (Ravenol MTF-2) made no difference. I guess it's just a feature![]()
I only found a kit for MT-82, with 2.8 litres of oil. I believe there is 3.5 litres in Tremec.change the fluid out to BG syncro shift 2. OP mustang has a kit with the correct amount of oil and a hand pump. When I switched all notchyness in every gear change went away.
13.1L for the automatic and 3.1L for the manual according to the owner's manual on page 61 (https://www.fordservicecontent.com/...h-1-Supplement-version-1_su_EN-US_11_2020.pdf):I only found a kit for MT-82, with 2.8 litres of oil. I believe there is 3.5 litres in Tremec.
