Jim Owens specifically mentioned some easter eggs in the 2015s but he didn't disclose exactly what it might be.

If you want to drive it I'd definitely say you made the right decision. I was fortunate to get a 2015 through the VIP program at MSRP and I love it to death. I'm not a collector, I wanted a car that I'm going to drive, even if just on the weekends. But knowing that it may well be a collectors item one day I'm also very conscious how many miles I put on it, and I'm constantly worried about someone smacking it in a parking lot or that sort of thing.

It's a bit of a double edged sword, but I still wouldn't trade my car for anything!:D
You are doing nearly the same thing I am doing with my car - drive it on weekends, keep the mileage low, but enjoy it when I do drive it. You were very lucky to be able to purchase the car at that price; as I paid over MSRP. But I never park it in a lot, or let anyone else drive the car, never in the rain or on wet roads. When in the garage, it has a car cover plus some other covers on top of that. Because it is a 2016 model, I am not that concerned about mileage; however, your model, in which only 137 were made, are already fetching anywhere from 90K to 150k. It's your car, don't let anyone tell you what to do.

If you don't mind me asking, would you be willing to describe in broad terms what qualified you as VIP for the purpose of this program?

Thanks. I'd be curious to hear if that's the case with glhshelby, too, or if it's different.

Too funny!

When I ran my GLH Shelby back in '86 and '87 on both the street and the track a lot of Mustangs, Camaro's and even Corvette's were very surprised and humbled by Carroll's little hot rod. Of course it was not completely stock with the power to weight ratio being excellent.
