Difference between 2017 and 2018 GT350

I am contemplating buying a GT350. Currently looking at a 2017. I have searched the internet looking for the differences if there are any even. But haven’t had much luck.

My understanding is that there are no differences except for color choice. Having said that, I believe some very, very early 2017's have the spin on oil filter instead of the revised canister type.

Steering wheel airbag clips are in a slightly different location on 2018. So if you are looking at an aftermarket steering wheel, then it needs to be specific to the 2018. The 2015-2017 S550 steering wheels will not accept a 2018 airbag.

Other than that, just color choices AFAIK.

18 has a different key fob and the owners kit is slightly different (USB stick in lieu of dvd).

Yes, 18 has the new key. And I like it.. besides that the difference in the owners supplement kit is all I can think of.

Oh, with the electronics pkg, I have Apple CarPlay. Not sure if earlier years had that.

2017 has the HW and software to run CarPlay. 2016 and earlier will run the software fine but require a HW upgrade.
