so, SCT claims some good gains for the GT350 on 93, will be a little less on 91. But, the X4 and BDX devices are $399 with N SCT tune, while lund charges the same 399 for the device, but an extra $180 for their tune.QUESTION: is the LUND tune really worth the extra coin?

A Lund custom tune is as good as it gets, we run them exclusively on all ours and our customer cars. Basically the difference is Lund will tune the car with your specific mods and fuel you will be using to optimize your set up. While with a canned SCT tune they tune for a specific car model and base it on an average of the model. They will always be some power left on the table with this. Also with going with a custom tune, they have you do some data logging and send the information back to them so they can make sure everything is functioning properly.
Feel free to hit me up with any questions.

After a few pms with Lund support, seems their tuning and service are good. I lesrned two major things today: First: we can buy an e85 tune that will allow us to run anywhere from 0% e85 all the way to 100% e85 and the car will automatically adjust! Awesome! Second is that if you buy the ngage you are locked into Lways using the ngage. If the dreaded happens and Lund goes out of business and you want tune revisions, etc, you are out of luck and must buy a different programmer like ans SCT. If you like SCT Lund sells them. Might want to consider for flexibility. Assuming you have a laptop and dont mind a few extra steps for datalogging...

Man if lund goes out of business we probably have bigger things to worry about lol. The flex fuel tune is awesome. If you're on a trip without e85 accessible, just put in 93 and let it adjust and go. Although, you'll probably never want to put 93 in it because the corn is so much better...

Keep in mind you can monitor all kinds of stuff on that ngauge...knock, spark, alc%, alc learned, afr, etc. Very handy when mounted in the vehicle. To me it's a no brainer
