So working around the engine bay last night I noticed this current sensor on one of the red cables coming from the fuse block. It's not plugged into anything.
Looks like something the service department or assembly line would use. Stuff like this would normally have a cap to keep the elements out if it was required for vehicle diagnostics by service techs. I would think the contacts would get corroded being exposed like that. So likely this do-dad is never used again? Your thoughts? View attachment 444621
