I am new to the forum, I have a Mustang gt 2015 50 years edition, recently I had the idea to tune my car, so I bought a diablo sport intune i3. And Yes, I could feel an increase in power and better acceleration, but my question now is, this type of tune is safe for the engine? or am I damaging it.

IMO Diablosport has the BEST tuning devices on the planet. I have their Trinity EX platinum and was blown away with the features & ease of use. Their canned tunes will rival most other 'custom tunes' in terms of drivability & overall power. You won't be disappointed.

Do the Diablo tuners offer a canned e85 tune for the 18+ cars?

If they did that would make the trinity attractive.

I use the I2 on my Mustang all is good but transmission firmness makes the 6 speed auto slip

Curious about this. Do you feel that because the shift firmness is so firm that it makes the transmission slip?
For the experts here, could this happen?
What are you feeling when you think it’s slipping? Rpm jump not engaging when you think it should?

I'm not an expert but all the published data on these is not very good. I believe there are many undefined trans tables.

Even when I copy Roush's trans settings the trans does not shift like a Roush tuned car.

I tried it from slight firmness to full on shift kit it slips on all so I put it back on stock and it is fine

I’m trying to follow. How do you know it’s slipping? When is it slipping? On upshift or middle of the gear? Describe what it feels like.
It may not be the tune but is plausible. Does increasing shift firmness tend to wear out the transmission clutches faster? I thought the opposite but I don’t know enough about it. Hopefully the smart guys will chip in.

IMO they're confusing a different lockup strategy for 'slip'.

Are you saying that when you use the shift firmness adjustments on the device to increase the pressure, that it makes it feel like it’s slipping on the shifts? Is it only at wide-open throttle or at part throttle as well? Have you ever reached out to Diablo about this?

I make good use of the compare feature of the software I use. It is how I learn what does what.
