DFW Sighting

Caught another DIB GT Premium PP a little before 8:00 this morning as I was getting onto 820 Westbound from 287/Saginaw Main. This one was on 820. Stayed together for a couple miles before I hit the left lane and accelerated to cruising speed.

Lots of DIB GT PP ponies in my neck of the woods these days.

I travel 287 to 35 in Fort Worth every M-F morning, then 183E every afternoon. I haven't seen any other S550s.

I drive from south Arlington to downtown Dallas every weekday and see about 2 there, and 2 on my way home! Traffic never allows us to play...

Black GT 5.0 and mine.. We were cruising from Euless area 183, then hit express lanes to 820 all the way into downtown fort worth this morning. You got off on the 820 into downtown exit. We were just shy a full Benjamin good part of the way.

This is me, live in Stonebridge and I rev to say hello, feel free to shout back. There is another black GT running around up here as well that has exhaust but otherwise looks stock...if your on here, slow down in the neighborhoods...

There seems to be a TON of us up here though, always see 6G's around.

Nice! I saw that one, and there is also a lowered one black with black wheels I saw from time to time. Wife and I just moved out of Stonebridge since we are building a new house.

Could you get a 2015 DIB with the 60th anniversary quarter windows? I swear that is what I saw. Thought those were just on black and white ones?

They had Kona blue ones too.

Those windows were only available on the 50th Anniversary LEs. They came in either Wimbledon White or Kona Blue. The WW is more cream colored than standard Oxford White, and KB is darker and more metallic than DIB. There were no black LEs, but they offered the 2015 EcoBoost and GT with a 50th anniversary appearance package. The package included some of the styling cues from the LE (chrome corral grill, chrome tail light trim, 50 Year trunk badge, unique wheels, and a few other things) and was available in any of the standard Mustang colors. However those cars didn't have the louvered quarter windows or the chrome window trim.
