That will definitely break your transmission.
That’s fine this trans is just a placeholder until the stage 3 becomes available, I’m not expecting much out of it just need it to hold on for 2-3 months.

I have to send the clutch off first before they can warranty it, in the meantime I picked up an RXT for cheap since it’ll hold up to hot laps at the strip better. Where did you hear about the stage 3 releasing soon? I’ve got my original trans on standby ready to go out once it becomes available.
Alejandro Flores is being sent it by Ben Calimer to stress test it as we speak. It’ll be available soon. But probably not soon enough for you.

This is why drag racing ,everyone went to an automatic.
It has some "give" no matter what type converter you have, and before someone chimes in and comments and adds the farbanks automatic with clutch of the 70's. that was 40 + years ago.
Takes a manual, drops in a clutch with all the give taken out of it, (those hub springs are there for a reason) and now has broken gears and more than likely twisting input/output and cluster shafts.
Good luck with what ever you put back into it. But giving up that 100th of a second because there is some give in the clutch hub ,is better than breaking a bunch of stuff allot.
Dead hooks also kill parts.

You do know the 10R80 is horrible in regards to “drag” racing and reliability. I’m not saying the MT82 is better by any means considering there’s just no way to be as fast at the same power. But the 10R80 clutch is weak and the trans tweeks out like crazy with anything above like 8 or 900 wheel. The 6R80 is much more stout of a trans and in general is better for “drag” racing so I’m with you on that one.

Chrysler was first with the 'clutchflite'. Anyways, Organic clutches have plenty of give. Treat it like a high stall in a automatic and your golden.

Just wanted to share some pics of the Lethal Performance LPXHD clutch in my car after just 3000 miles. Car is a 2020 900whp Whipple car. In the process of RMAing it but the process has been a nightmare.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with their clutch? I'm in the process of looking for a clutch for my car at similar horse power. How was LP in dealing with the RMA? Consumer friendly or more like they didn't care?

Took a while to get the ball rolling but they got me an RMA and address and McLeod took it over from there. McLeod ended up warranting the clutch and mailed me out a new one. Took about a week from the time they received the old clutch to the time they sent out a new one.
