Ordered 11/30. Took delivery today, so approximately six weeks. Two and a half weeks to schedule, build and ship and three and a half weeks in transit.

Well that's some hope. Kinda funny that it spent more time traveling than it took you waiting to get built and assembly.

I wonder why it takes so long to transport.

Must suck living in Hawaii at times!
The only thing that gets here fast is stuff i buy off of Amazon.

Im planning to get my VIN next month, build date at the end of february, and ship out middle of march. Should be a mid april to late april delivery. Hell my dealer hasnt even gotten all of thier allocation yet.

I found out that the worst time to order was the last week of December and first week of January. New Year's was on a Thursday (the day of the week that order's are pulled and potential VINs created). Flat Rock had already shut down for the Holidays. Rachel/Ford confirmed that orders would start to be pulled again on the third Thursday of January (Jan 15). So all VOC/orders will be on hold from Dec 30 through until 15 Jan. In addition, it may take a week or two for all of the piled up orders to be entered into the schedule. So actual factory processing may not start until Feb 1 for many of us.
I ordered a convertible so I am not too worried about getting a delivery into late March or early April.
I ordered in the morning, received a VOC, and was listed on qa.cotus (convertible), by 2 PM. So depending on your dealer, getting listed on Cotus should only take an hour or two. If after a couple of days, you still are not listed, I would demand to know why the order wasn't sent to Ford?

My order was accepted 12/19 been waiting on a VIN since then. Last week I noticed my order disappeared from COTUS! Spoke to Rachel from the forum and found out my dealer used the same order number for a F250 and for some reason the trucks take precedent over mustangs on COTUS. She assured me my order was still in the system and like everyone else above has said VINS will start to be issued this coming week. So I'm hopeful for this Thursday as well.

My order was submitted on 1/2 and revised by me on 1/5 at the dealer. I just got into Cotus for the first time and they show an order date of 1/2 and all the revised options are correct. Yippee! Living in New Hampshire I don't want it much before April 1 anyways.

Those of you with a VIN that don't know your build date can try contacting FordService here on the forums. I got my VIN 2 hours after ordering my car on the 16th of december but haven't gotten any information past that from COTUS. Messaged FordService and was told my build week would be the last week in January.

I was wondering that as well. I am only 500 miles away from the plant too. I know it sat in the rail yard 30 miles away from the dealer for about 10 days because the trucks were behind or something like that.

I wonder how long it will take to get delivered for me up here in northern Michigan. I'm 4 hours away from the D. I don't think it'll get loaded up on a train since we hardly ever get trains up here. Surely it'll make its entire journey on semi. 4 hour drive. It can't take more than a week? At the most.

I revised my order today and I'm hoping to be in COTUS within a couple hours.

If you revise do you keep your spot or do you start over?

So what exactly do I need to be able to look order up on COTUS if I don't have a VIN yet ? (sorry if this has been asked before).

Ordered in late December.
