Dash trim peeling?

The corner of the dash trim piece seems to be peeling at the upper corner on the passenger side. Has anyone else had this happen?

Doesn’t look like peeling to me…. Looks like something was nibbling on it, or when it was installed someone was using a tool near it for installation of another panel or part?

Call your Dealer and have it warranty repaired…

Ok. Guess i’ll ask the dealership about it when I bring it in for its first service. Really hate bringing the car into the dealership if I can avoid it…

Please post up what they say. As @Cobra Jet mentioned I wonder if it’s from a careless assembly worker using a tool to install something else and they were prying against the dash

So I just checked mine and it looks exactly like yours. I thought it was peeling up and damaged but then I realized it was just crud. I was able to scrape it off with my fingernail. You can see it laying in the crevis. I’ll clean it up later. As far as it being dented, it looks fine in person but in the pic it does look a little dented. Must be a lighting thing.

Interesting - with @stageron showing the above, I wonder if that is the same on the OP's?

When I enlarged the pic for my initial response, didn't even think it could be adhesive crud from the protective film for the assembly of the part.

Lick it and see if it disappears!

thanks for checking. I’ll have to check again when I get a chance. I did try wiping with a damp microfiber cloth lightly, but nothing happened. Was too scared to apply any pressure or try to peel it in case it peeled “vinyl” from the trim piece.

I had the dealer replace that piece of trim on my GT PP.

My dash had a couple of dings (in the area where the oil pressure and vacuum gauges are mounted) upon delivery. A replacement has been ordered by the dealer... seems like the team that installs the dash trim on Mach 1’s must be a tad careless.
