Damn package thief

Was wondering where my package was from Amazon that suppose to be delivered 3 days ago. I looked at the tracking and it showed delivered but I did not receive anything.

I checked the delivery time on Amazon and went into my trucks dash cam to see what happened.

Amazon delivery man dropped it off and this is what I saw next.

Amazon will replace it, but now your carrier will no longer leave a package.

Call the cops and get a police report.

If you can have things delivered to your work address then definitely do that. People know what the Amazon delivery vehicles look like and just follow them to steal packages.

As stated above, file a Police report!

Yeah but that's A LOT of work. I like the old school approach better. There's a video on youtube. Guy was getting Jeep parts (packages) stolen from his front porch. So he rigged a dummy package with a BLANK 12ga shotgun shell. Douchbag pulls the package to take it, blank goes off. Hilarity ensues.

I did call Amazon and explained the situation and they were kind enough to refund my money. The package had $35 worth of air fresheners.

I will be installing a camera at the front door. Don't want this to happen again.

We have a Nest Hello. It's deterred people quite well so far. Is a bit funny seeing how many people think it doesn't record them if they don't ring it. Haha
