Damaged 350R on delivery

22 miles doesn't seem like brand new to me.

Aren't those test drive miles? Not customers, but for factory inspection and post delivery inspection? I apologize in advance if I am wrong.

Both my track pack and R had 7 miles at delivery. No one test drives these cars. 22 miles clearly means someone took it out for a spin....and curbed it.

I for one would love to see a chunk taken out that carbon R rim but that's just me.

As the saying goes "Pics or it didn't happen". Now there are pics and I understand your disappointment....SORRY! This definitely looks to have been done in shipping.

As to how dealerships operate you were in the proverbial drivers seat for getting something better off then where you started. JAT

P.S. Mine was brand new and it had 23 miles at time of delivery.

The Rs should have a few more miles because of prep shop I thought.

Personally for me, if its not <15 miles on a brand new car something seems a bit suspicious.

I'd bet that transport company isn't going to be happy to find out what ONE CF wheel and Cup2 tire is going to cost them!

I looked at getting a replacement set of CF wheels and interestingly enough I found that the smaller front wheels were more expensive than the larger rear CF wheels.

With tax the bill came to ~$17,000 for a set of 4 and that was for the wheels only and did not include any Sport Cup 2 tires.

I'm looking for a set of track wheels for my gt350 and think that the 6gr wheels may fit the bill in R spec. What finish do you have in the TY pics and what do I need to do if anything for the lug difference. I have a 2017 LB gt350 and my first Mustang.
