Wow at that price
Worth every penny ;)

I don’t think they are being unrealistic. Here’s a comp from October: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2019-ford-mustang-shelby-gt350r-16/

That being said, it would take the right buyer and certainly not someone who is planning to use it as a daily driver. I’m glad I got mine when I did. I would hate to try buying one right now.
That seems to be the price range right now. Dealers usually shoot a little high and drop a bit when someone is serious (in person ready to buy).
Some use them as dailys but the majority are weekend or race track.

I've seen some for sale for over 100k which I think is very high for the car currently, maybe in summer when prices rise across the board for these cars that'll be somewhat reasonable. I think for winter that is very high
Maybe... but certain cars sell any time of year. We've seen them going for these prices recently, in Winter - so it actually brings up the question - what will they go "up" to during the summer?

The Mach 1 might help keep prices from going too crazy because some people really like the warranty - and the car does perform well. IMO, it's not going to be as special, though...but that warranty...

The car probably will go up to 90s in spring and maybe mid 90s in the summer, but that still seems kinda high

Trust me - it feels high now because you're shopping. Your sentiment will change once you have one - you'll be like, "to the moooon!!!".

Just my opinion, I'll never pay over MSRP for a car. Even MSRP hurts, because that's the super-duper mark-up price and we all know it. Tacking on 10's of thousands is just pure greed/profit and it neither benefits Ford Motor Company nor the customer. Only the little po-dunk jerk of a dealer.

I have never paid over MSRP, usually under, sometimes way under. That said, todays desperate times are demanding price increases across the spectrum, some more than others. Heck, I paid 5K under MSRP for my new ‘19 GT350 in June of 2020. I paid 10K under for my work truck, ‘07 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 5.9 Cummins in ‘08. It doesn’t have 100K miles on it yet. I could go on.
I am so glad I don’t “need” a car/truck right now.

He's driving a mustang GT. Up until today's market, he's probably never run into this. Even today he'd probably pay over for his GT.

This is a common misconception from GT owners. The GT350s and 500s are just another mustang. Although you are the exception, most people pay the ADM that they feel they can afford or they drive 1 of 48,000 mustang GTs.

I bought my plebeian GT on 1/22/22 and paid under MSRP.

If driving experience were my #1 priority my choices would be GT350R and Mach1 not a GT350. The Mach1 is literally 1s slower around the 4 mile Virginia International Course as an auto and the A10 Mach1 should beat the stock 350R around that course with over 100 less HP. I also think the value of the Mach1s are going to be exceptional. It's one of the most balanced Mustangs

Driving experience = automatic? And it has 56 less HP.
If a Mach 1 stick is faster than a GT350 stick around a track that would equal most people saying it's a better driving experience.

There is a lot of ifs there, including your if.

I'll believe it when I see it. Give us some real concrete data and not some automotive journalists review please.
